










Fire damage on a commercial building is one of those situations where you can't cut corners. The structure has to come all the way back - from the bones out. That's exactly what this job called for. The existing roof framing was compromised beyond repair, so we stripped it out and started fresh with all-new trusses and framing throughout the main section of the building.
The crane work alone tells you something about the scale here. Pulling out the old, fire-charred truss sections and setting new engineered trusses in their place isn't a small-crew weekend job. It takes coordination, the right equipment, and people who know structural framing inside and out. Once the new trusses were set and the framing was solid, we installed a tin roof to close the building in and protect everything underneath.
The barrel roof section was its own challenge. That curved geometry requires a different approach than a standard pitched roof - the framing has to follow the arc precisely, and the sheathing has to conform to it cleanly. We rebuilt that section from scratch, sheeted it with plywood, and got it ready for waterproofing. That's the kind of detail work that matters if you want the finished product to hold up long-term.
On the interior, the OSB ceiling installation was the final step to get the building fully closed in. Working off scissor lifts to fasten panel after panel overhead is slow, careful work. But it's what takes a structure from "open to the elements" to ready for the next phase of interior buildout. Our general contracting approach means we're managing all of these moving pieces together - framing, roofing, and interior - without the owner having to juggle multiple contractors.
